Sphagnum peat moss is partially decomposed
spagnum moss. It develops over several thousand years as a result of the oxygen-free decomposition of this vegetation. The plant's large cell structure favors aeration and absorbs water like a sponge. Although peat moss does not contain nutrients, it does help retain nutrients from fertilizers by storing them throughout the soil. Otherwise, valuable nutrients are lost through leaching. Peat moss mixed into flower beds and garden boxes adds humus which is essential for beautiful gardens. Whether it is mushroom growers in the United States or greenhouse operators in Japan, our customers have been pleased with the superior quality of our product and the reliability of our service. The most important aspect of our sales approach is communication with our customers. Because of this approach, our sales have been made largely by word of mouth... from one satisfied customer to another... from one continent to another.
